Where are Reddit users migrating amidst the API fee controversy?

It seems like drama has struck the Reddit community once again, this time involving the introduction of API fees. With these changes causing quite a stir, I'm curious to know where most Reddit users are migrating. Are they flocking to alternative platforms within the Nostr network or exploring other options outside of it?

&ldquo;Most&rdquo; Reddit users are not moving anywhere. I subscribe to dozens of subreddits that cover my niches and if it wasn&rsquo;t for HN I would not even have known that there is a &ldquo;Reddit drama&rdquo;. Things are fine and will continue to be fine.

Personally I'm not adding anything... Just removing Reddit.
No more premium, no app. I'll keep my account/visit occasionally, but I have a feeling it's only going to trend worse
It's more taking back valuable time in my day than rage. I understand they need to make money, but a sustainable Reddit sounds boring/dreadful

Most will stay on Reddit because there is nothing like it. Like twitter users are mostly staying in twitter.But it&rsquo;s always a good time to explore new social medias.

My general impressions are so far mostly (probably in rough order of ubiquity):
1. They're not migrating.
2. KBin (also Lemmy because they're interoperable, although I'm seeing more communities I frequent popping up on KBin servers).
3. Squabbles
My sense is if there is some migration it will be fairly gradual, not overnight, and might go in some completely different direction over the next year. It probably depends on what people were getting out of Reddit too.

Nowhere. I deleted Apollo and started using the official Reddit app on my iPad and phone. I hadn&rsquo;t used it for years and while I don&rsquo;t think it&rsquo;s better than Apollo in any way, it&rsquo;s not that bad. I&rsquo;ll just keep using Reddit.

I'm here, in Lemmy, in Kbin, in Beehaw. Registering to a new alternative only takes me a small amount of my time, but it increases the odds of finding what I want.
I've also spent more time in 4chan and MyAnimeList, although I was already a regular in both.
I used HN in the past. I still don't like it, to be honest. But I dislike it less than I dislike Reddit.

Mostly to greener pasteurs like https://tildes.net, https://lobste.rs/ and quite a few here on hacker news too. I'm not quite sure if some may to moving to the "popular pasteurs" like twitter and facebook because they'd be least likely to be on reddit in the first place.
