No more premium, no app. I'll keep my account/visit occasionally, but I have a feeling it's only going to trend worse
It's more taking back valuable time in my day than rage. I understand they need to make money, but a sustainable Reddit sounds boring/dreadful
Most people I imagine will stay. Hooked/no memory
But it’s always a good time to explore new social medias.
1. They're not migrating.
2. KBin (also Lemmy because they're interoperable, although I'm seeing more communities I frequent popping up on KBin servers).
3. Squabbles
My sense is if there is some migration it will be fairly gradual, not overnight, and might go in some completely different direction over the next year. It probably depends on what people were getting out of Reddit too.
Hope the devs will help community in polishing the rough edges and the community itself will step up.
In the end, it is about long term support that people are asking for
I've also spent more time in 4chan and MyAnimeList, although I was already a regular in both.
*I used HN in the past. I still don't like it, to be honest. But I dislike it less than I dislike Reddit.
