Is there a way to search HN comments by username?


I want to find one of my old comments about a specific topic.

I tried google with site:news.ycombinator.com "tikkun" "topic"

I tried algolia search, there doesn't seem to be a way to do username:{username} {query}

Is there a tool for this?

Try the "normal" Algolia search (the one at the bottom of any HN page).

Input in it (Example): tikkun Weinberg

You will find no result as first search defaults to "Stories", but if you switch to "Comments" you will find this:

The issue may be with the "topic" part, AFAIK search is about contents of the post, so you might find results only if you look for "keyword" (something that you remember having used in the post).
