Bard vs. Open.ai

What are people finding more valuable? I am using Open.AI a lot but am sometimes frustrated with it's overly "flowerly" responses. Maybe there are better ways to use it with prompts..?

You can tell it to not be so descriptive. It's a staple of prompt engineering to specify terse responses, or at least what style of response is wanted.

Remember what it is - a language model. You can be really specific about how you want the responses, because not everybody will want the default style.

If you wanted them in Haiku format, just tell it that all responses should be in Haiku format, and that's precisely what you'll get.

I often like to try my queries on Bard and ChatGPT.

I'm consistently surprised at how much better ChatGPT's answers are. While both are prone to making up nonsense, Bard seems much more likely to do so.
