Who Lives in the Las Vegas Area?
I'm likely moving to the Las Vegas area next year, and I'm wondering if anyone here has any opinions they'd like to shared.
My bias is negative, so I'm hoping to be swayed the other way, but I guess we'll see.
What do you do for fun?
Do you have a sense of community?
What do you do during the Summer to survive the heat and not get stuck inside for the entire season?
Are there enough trees/parks for a healthy life?

Having been here 10+ years, it feels like it's growing to me. With new sports teams that are already here and new ones arriving, there's more than just casinos for entertainment. There are also other companies coming here, moving from CA and other places. There are about 3 months of the year where it's so hot that it's uncomfortable to stay outside for an extended period of time - though the rest of the year is fine, with mild Winters. Not sure what your occupation is, but I'm a software engineer and have found work both local and remote.
