What are your most contrarian beliefs about tech and beyond?

I've always believed The Singularity is here, it's just spread out and will need to converge if it's going to be of any use. Similar to an analogy by Nick Land[0] in one of his interviews: Tech will be like that evil Terminator (of the film franchise) who has separate metal liquid that recombines into the final form.
