How to Spyware?

I'm having trouble finding resources dedicated towards spywaring people. I merely cannot use any search engine to figure out "how to spyware". I'm met with spyware removal products and guides, all of which are useless given that spyware is so pervasive in the digital age. Google search engine results are always fixed for keywords like "spyware" or "rootkits".

It's normal to spyware people, yet I cannot find a single technical resource dedicated towards educating people on the very lifeblood of the internet: surveillance. If anyone wants to help me keep the spirit of Paul Graham's Hacker News alive please educate me on exactly how to conduct spyware? I am a newbie when it comes to this and, after all, this is HACKER News. This isn't fluff; I am genuinely having trouble educating myself on exactly how to conduct surveillance using spyware.
