How to secure a job on J2 visa for my spouse?

Hello, I shall be starting graduate school this Fall in Michigan as a Fulbright scholar. My spouse shall be accompanying me on a J2 visa. As my spouse is a senior executive at a electricity utility company in one of the largest cities in the world, they intend to find an identical job in the area around Detroit in Michigan.My spouse is leading three teams comprising 30 people related to Advanced Metering Infrastructure. In addition, they have a graduate degree in engineering from Imperial College.What we have done?1. Contacted friends and family working in US for help.2. I have also asked the spouse to get LinkedIn Premium Membership and directly contact hiring managers and technical managers.Any help shall be appreciated.

Are you looking for a(nother) senior executive position, that will possibly be abandoned 3-4 years later, when you finish your BSc? I'm not really sure if there are a lot of opportunities with such conditions, especially without an existing, local professional network, or without being famous in the industry. This works for freelancers/consultants - if you have the option, become one. Otherwise it's easier to find generic non-executive STEM jobs once you live at the target location.Alternatively, keep the current job...
