Would people pay for a blocklist of SEO spam and misleading sites?
Given the current state of search and social media, I wonder if it's an actual problem that people are willing to pay a fee for instead of letting platforms attempt to moderate themselves.
Most HN threads are full of people saying some product is expensive and should have been free, or how to use the product without paying. HN is not very enthusiastic about paying for things.
It's handled pretty well by uBlacklist, and the open source blocklist approach works better in this case.
Seems more like a feature of ublock than a product.
Personally probably not, but what about companies paying a company subscription?
Nope, rather maintain my own list, and there are already tons of blacklists
Nah I am too cheap. And I would prefer something like a Brave Goggle instead.
