Any Solutions for the MacBook External HDMI Flickering Issue?

My MacBook has an HDMI port, which is quite convenient. However, I always experience flickering when using my BenQ monitor. I'm fairly certain it's not the screen's fault, as I've seen numerous similar complaints online involving different monitors. I'm not sure if this should be categorized as a Mac issue, but I think Apple should seriously consider a product recall if there's no viable solution.

It might be a common incompatibility with those monitors because BenQ has a troubleshooting page for this: https://www.benq.com/en-us/knowledge-center/knowledge/how-to...

One thing that seems to have helped (anecdote of 1) is getting a longer (quality) HDMI cable and making sure the end that connects to the MacBook goes in as straight as possible. As you may have noticed, there is quite a bit of play in that connector and I suspect having it at an angle degrades the connection.

Dell Monitors have the same issue and they sent me a USB-C to HDMI adaptor which solved the problem. I guess something is wrong with the HDMI port.
