What are some good terminals for Linux now?

Hey HN Community!

I've observed lately that the development of contemporary terminals seems to be leaning more towards OSX, leaving Linux desktops in the dust.

In the past, iTerm2 was a leading terminal, but now the spotlight is on Warp. Hyper had its moment too, but it lacked robust Linux support.

Are there any stylish Linux terminals out there with a rich extension ecosystem? Suggestions are much appreciated!

Kitty? I don't know how stylish it is, but it has support for inline images, that's my killer application.

Just stick to xterm. Clean, uncluttered, and fast.
