Embedded Engineering in India

HN readers from India, how many of you are currently working in Hardware/Firmware Engineering roles? What has been your experience like in these domains in terms of salary and general working conditions? How mature is the embedded engineering space in India?Background: I am a HW/FW engineer, with a decade of experience in the domain of embedded engineering across various industries in Europe, and I am now contemplating on returning to India for good.

Won't go in too much detail since I don't want to dox myself, but I currently work at Samsung doing embedded IoT stuff. As a new-comer graduated from a top college, the salary is very competitive, and so are the year-on-year increments (even now, with the global economic downturn).
