What do you all think of HN hiding/showing scores on comments?

As you might be aware, [hacker news](https://news.ycombinator.com/) doesn’t allow downvotes on posts, does allow downvotes on comments but only by those with 1000 karma, keeps score hidden on comments except your own, while it shows the score on posts to everyone.

What do you all think of this?
