Why don't I see [dead] mark next my own submits?

In my options I've turned on the option to see dead links. I can see [dead] mark next to other peoples content, but not next to mine. Why is that so?

Probably to keep spam bots from seeing their own links are dead but you could email Dang to get a better answer.
