Chromostereopsis is the human perception of different colors seeming at different depths.
I recently noticed that I view the order of color-depth differently to everyone else (thanks to Manjoro's color scheme). But, I wondered, how many others, like me, are out there?
Even in the example I linked, which has additional hints to depth, I see it differently. And it's not subtle, it's a very strong effect. I've even tried staring at it for ages, like some magic eye picture, or one of those illusions where you can invert the depth, trying to will my perception to change. No good.
