I'm a 16 and one of the things that I love to do is study startups (their history, how they got big, etc).
Not too long ago I decided to start building a newsletters.
It's called Unheard Roots and my goal was to tell the backstory of startups that change the world (a little corny but I find it interesting).
I have 7 subscribers so far and I'm a little lost on how I can grow it.
I don't really care to make money off of this, I'm just interested in building a community of people that enjoy learning about these startups like I do.
If you were in my shoes, what would you do to find people who might be interested in this?
P.S this is the newsletter: https://unheardroots.com/
Podcast, YouTube channel, Blog, Newsletter.
Do interviews with startups and then put them out to each of these channels. Audio interviews on podcast, video interviews on YouTube, transcripts/polls/think-pieces on the blog, digest in the newsletter.
You can decide to keep your Blog as the primary source hosting all the content.
Use social media like Twitter, LinkedIn etc., to inform those audiences about your content and grow your subscribers organically.
tell the story of new startups for posterity and have them share they're story with they're customers, investors etc. now each time you add one you expose your newsletter to a wider and wider audience.
Just takes a while to figure out how to play linkedin and to get a following there
