Why don’t you make the website Dark Mode/iOS Safari Reader friendly?

Why don't you set a user style sheet that would give you the colors you prefer, instead of expecting HN to provide such for you.

Browsers have the alternate name "user agent" because they are supposed to work for you. Setting up a user style sheet in your browser will allow you to color HN in any way you desire.
