Upswell of pro-China comments on Reddit / Social media?

I post pro China comment from time to time. And I am not a bot.

I just lived several years in China and keep fond memories of the country. It has its problems, for sure.

As a French, I am more surprised by people who keep posting nice things about the US to be honest.

Maybe people are starting to think for themselves instead of just accepting the Western MSM's output favoring the Western Establishment views.

On the Internet you are not restricted to just Western media, but news broadcasters from all around the world. Maybe sometimes people see the 'other' news can be more truthful than the Western news.

Or maybe the cognitive dissonance from what the people experience and what the MSM say is just too grating to accept.

As the old saying goes "What are you going to believe? What I'm saying or your own lying eyes?"
