How is 18,000 dairy cows possible?

This is a picture of 2500 cows, confined in an industrial dairy farm:

What kind of industrial assembly line abomination is 18,000?

Are you referencing the Texas explosion, fire and death of 18,000 cattle with that number?

The farm is 1hr from Lubbock, TX and halfway between Lubbock and Armarillo. Well I came across a person claiming to be a DOD contractor and neurotech weapon whistle blower (biochemist) on Twitter last month.

His first post seemed unrelated to all the main sci fi seeming stuff. But check out what his first post was:

(where I am, 60 cows is a large dairy operation)

I wonder if the dairy farm will be charged with a crime?

As crazy/sad as it may seem, this is just a small fraction (0.35%) of the 590,000 milk cows and 4.5 million beef cows in the state of Texas. We apparently consume a lot of dairy products and meat.
