How do you host a launch party?

Our team is just my co-founder and I. We are both technical founders (SWEs). We want to host a big launch party similar to how other dating apps have done and have some cash to spend on it. We just have no idea how to get it properly organized. Is there a service or some way other very early stage startups have done it?
