Can YouTube use my answers on polls to serve me personalised ads?

I have never answered polls on Youtube because I always assumed Google would use it to serve me targeted ads. Am i right in my assumption?I saw a poll asking for yearly salary range and it just made me wonder.

I assume yes. But also, use an adblocker like uBlock Origin, Adguard, Pi-Hole, DNS66 etc. I don't remember the last time I saw ads.
