How do you cope with the speed of GPT news/advancement?

My RSS reader shows me articles from

that it clusters and classifiers with transformers from

https://huggingface.co/

Mostly ignore the massive piles of hype and repetitive "AI is coming for us" anxiety posts. We may all lose our jobs or get mined for the iron in our bodies. More likely we'll look back on this in a decade the way we look back today at the hype and bullshit about quantum everything, nanotechnology, nuclear fusion, interstellar travel, space colonies, flying cars, supersonic passenger jets, and stem cell cures for everything.
