GPT/Bard and right to be forgotten?

I am just curious how these AI, which, according to my understanding are mostly pre trained opaque boxes, can deal with items like the right to be forgotten —- or forgetting information that could be defamation ?

I have to admit that I am pretty skeptical of the "right to be forgotten" though. Our local bus company lost $750,000 to a gambling addict embezzler. People like that almost always reoffend if they have any access to money. People who use their social skills as a weapon ought to be held accountable otherwise they will take advantage of people again and again.
