Do chatbots take over the web and apps?

Here's my assumptions:

1. connecting a chatbot to an email server is trivial, ftp, file system, python REPL, web crawler(langchain)

2. connecting it to slack, jira anything with an api is trivial(days per api). less with zapier or ifttt.

3. connecting it to databases(sql, nosql, grpah, vector) same effort.

I'm sure there are systems that won't be replaced by chat(with images and links to resources), but seems like alot could be. because it has a local database of that stuff for you.

Why go to a website if your personalized bot can go and order for "you know thing I ordered with Jon last week"

What if you have to intervene with a decision made by a bot? What if you had a last minute gut feeling not to to that thing with 'Jon last week'
