Why doesn't ChatGPT learn to simulate you from your chats with it?

Maybe there could be an option that would allow anyone to chat with the simulation of you and perhaps you could even browse and rate your answers in those chats.

As for the usefulness of this feature, imagine being able to go on hundreds of simulated dates in a short period of time. Browsing the resultant chats could yield an actual date.

This feature could also make you immortal in a way.

A lot of simulating you would be knowing what you know. Example: What were your parents like? or I heard you are a math whiz, can you explain ...? Is it supposed to just make things up using your unique sentence structs? If the computer is having to source this info from presumably you then why not just regurgitate the source?

Current language models have a very short memory (context window). For now they don't really learn anything after they have been trained.

Simulating real people is controversial and a good way to get flamed or banned.

Because that is a different AI/ML problem which is very hard to solve at scale.
