Do you need an IRC bouncer service and what features would you like?


I am thinking about hosting a free IRC bouncer service for popular IRC networks.

What do you think?

What software should I pick?

I am thinking about soju with their own webchat client.

Shouldn't irc be the place you ask? Better to speak to an already captive audience.

I believe there are already free offerings out there, which can be hard to compete with.

If you're trying to go free but with paid features, that's where you can capture users, perhaps even by giving the free users a taste of the premium features.

I don't know much about the state of IRC bouncer software today, but I'm sure there are some good ones out there.
