Should I follow the herd and implement AI or

Hey all, I'm currently building an OKR platform called Distilled atm and I'm trying to figure out a few things. I've been brainstorming a "Marketplace" that would host community driven OKR templates that are deployable with a single click to the app. This pros to this are:

- Network effects - Community - More focused OKRs

With all the hype around AI however, I'm wondering if we should implement some Chat GPT type features to allow people to develop their OKRs that way. I don't see many pros to this, but it might be a cool marketing gimmick. Some points I've considered:

- May be more seamless - Expensive - Not as community driven

bare in mind that you're leaking information to ChatGPT -- i'm not sure that many are thinking about that in a sober way just yet.

The pro is that chatGPT would probably quickly surface many okrs the user would not have thought of, and could answer questions about the pros and cons. It could also answer questions about how many wild be suitable and sub okr that may feed into the main okr and so forth

If you go the GPT route, try to make the backend flexible instead of marrying it to ChatGPT's API. Competing services (if not self hosted LLMs) could drive prices down very soon.

Also, those ideas are not mutually exclusive.
