I have a masters in algorithms and am familiar with papers and research and have general understanding in AI topics.
Spam filters can't catch all of it, although it's evident (looking at you Google).
Game agents still don't "understand" their environments, and game levels must be cafefully designed to avoid them getting stuck or doing unrealistic movements.
And the list goes on.
Everybody is preparing for the end of jobs by GPT but the reality is that AI is pretty dumb still.
