Why aren't companies more generous with they're stock options
Because all that team/family talk is BS. They give you the minimum amount that will get you to work today, and ope to reap the rewards of ownership tomorrow. A better question might be why there aren't better models/tutorials for establishing and running co-op businesses. As far as I can see most business schools see products and services are just intermediate step to the ultimate goal of collecting rents, because most of their students go to business school with the intent of getting rich.
