Is it worth $20 a month for a ChatGPT Subscription?

I'm looking for responses from actual paying customers — not everyone's hot-take on this topic!

  - How does it compare to the free version, in general?

  - Are your results *significantly* better or about the same?

  - Do you still experience heavy-use / downtime?

  - Do you plan to continue subscribing?

Seems faster, always available, subscribed already.

My work wants to buy corporate accounts for all of IT. Speaking with some old coworkers at other companies, their bosses also want to buy corporate accounts for employees.

Just need on-prem versions so we can start checking private data.

I subscribed and compared to the free version it’s faster and more available. It’s faster to write but also to start writing.

I didn’t notice significant changes of quality, but I haven’t tried the latest free version.

I experienced some downtime last weekend but overall it’s a tool I can use at work while before it was too slow and too often overloaded.

I will continue subscribing until something better is available. I think it’s worth the price if you use it at work.

I would say wait for sometime to get it better. May be the cost per user will come down as it gets more "efficient".
