What fraud warrants this much personal data from an LLM service?

I tried to sign up for an online large language model service just to experiment but it prevented me from registering. Their support team expects me to send them all these details first:

In order to fight frauds on
REDACTED we need to perform some additional security
    checks on your account.

Can you please reply to this email with answers to
    the following questions:

What are your name and physical address?
Can you also please share your Linkedin profile, if any?

Please share a scan of your identity card, attached
    to your email response.

Are you exploring REDACTED for personal use? Or will you
be using REDACTED in a professional capacity to engage
    your clients and/or their customers?

If you plan to use REDACTED for professional use,
please answer the following questions about your business:

What is the legal name of your business? Please provide
a link to your website or app.

What products and/or services do you offer to your
    customers?

What is your role with the business, and do you
have a publicly available online source that
displays your association such as a Linkedin
    profile or business registry?

Which REDACTED features do you plan on using? Please
outline your use case or what you intend to build.

Are you accessing your REDACTED dashboard from
countries that don't match your physical address
(using a VPN for example)? If so, can you please
share the names of these countries?
What kind of fraud do you think warrants so much data? I found it rather ridiculous. Signing up with their alternatives was far easier.

I do have friends who do a lot of ban dodging. Even things like signing up for accounts and then selling API keys to banned people. It's less work than donating blood and pays better.

LLMs are probably a new tool in spam, astroturfing, sexual harassment, etc, so this might just be an excessive response to something recent.
