Why are article titles so hard to read now?

am i having a stroke or is this some new literary technique to have opaque titles that make you think first? just be direct and say the fucking thing in the title.

But then you might not click the link. The ones making clickbait don’t care to inform or impart knowledge—they don’t even care if you read the article—all that matters is that you open the page and give them some advertising money.

Lack of proper punctuation, capitalization, and grammar is certainly part of it. Combined with products that are named using everyday words. And a presupposition that you are familiar with some pretty esoteric jargon:"Z-Library Returns on the Clearnet in Full Hydra-Mode"
