We're entering an era of rapid subversion in tech. What the banks thought were deep moats are quickly being filled-in. Imagine being told that, by surface-area, Intel and AMD would both become virtually meaningless, from 2014 to 2022.

As the current players jockey to get next-generation model use-cases monetized, a pocket will emerge for players whose moat doesn't depend on keeping that data hidden... governments at all levels are supported in better reporting data to the public.

Advertising money is going to begin to migrate to the crypto economy, models like Fountain seem an obvious end, since there are already virtual moats simply waiting for infrastructure like this to be built, and eyeballs to be thusly magnetized.

Qualcomm-Meta merger, becomes the adult in the room and forks Android fostering a vibrant ecosystem to support any incumbent competitors. VR practical-interface to worky-type-stuff.

Non-transistor, room-temperature substrate with pm-node scale for statistical modeling compute units invented.

Starlink available to a handset as an alternative to the cellular network. At least one competitor.

Neural data compression standards substantially reduce bandwidth usage and fidelity across streaming media.

Big wave of streaming media disintermediation, akin to the Twit-trot.
