The very fast and hard to kill zombie is just to much get over. They get infected manage to keep living and be in peak athletic form and some how don’t stop even after getting shot multiple times? Can only suspend belief so much when watching a show.
If HBO can rehash what has been done before and make money why do something better I guess.
This show does it really well. It has excellent writing, soundtrack, casting, set and makeup design. It's entertaining.
Like quality software, many quality stories don't seek to reinvent the wheel. The Last of Us is one of those stories.
