Is it even possible to integrate Django and WordPress?


I am currently in a dilemma. I recently started working as a professional developer so don't have much experience. My client runs a wordpress website which he wants to be converted to a custom one from scratch.

My team has been working on this project for a month now, but the problem is that the hosting plan chosen by my client does not support Django, which we have already been using for the past month. I am seeking suggestions on how to proceed or any useful references that could help in this situation. Thank you in advance~

It is possible to hack a WordPress a great deal to the point where it isn't really a blog anymore. If you do so you might have trouble keeping it up to date with the latest changes though, but you might have that problem with WordPress anyway. If you've got a WordPress with a vulnerability be aware that there are probably 50 spammers lined up to take advantage of it.

If your client really wants flexibility in how their web site works they shouldn't let themselves be limited by their web hosting plan. It's a competitive business and if one plan doesn't suit their needs they can find another that does.
