Is ChatGPT per se disruptive or a sustaining technology that will enable some entrepreneurs to disrupt existing businesses and business models?

Seems crazy for them not to, given the low-hanging fruit right now. I am observing many startups / side projects being built that are effectively a pretty web/app UI wrapped around OpenAI's GPT3 API, for a specific domain. It feels like we are experiencing a gold rush in this area right now.
More generally, ML has been and will continue to automate and disrupt. Like other model types applied to niches, getting them to work well takes time and is a grind.
