What would you consider a good “desktop power user” distro?

Which Linux distro(s) would you recommend to this kind of user? Details below:

# General Preferences:

- Mainly an experienced expert in desktop computer applications: From LO Calc to Double Commander to VLC and GIMP, and including at least one IDE or editor like VS Code or Geany

- Expects a distro that has reasonable documentation

- No preference as to window manager or desktop environment

# Desktop Tooling:

- Doesn't need a lot of hand holding at the desktop level, and can usually figure out desktop tasks intuitively

- Appreciates some distro maintainer affordances: Quick configuration tools, wizards for common tasks, etc.

- Has some basic understanding of the command line, but expects GUI tools for a lot of power user activities

- Expects advanced access options for desktop user tools and interfaces

# Programming and Scripting:

- Wants the ability to run some basic servers, along with general programming & scripting

- Would prefer some Autohotkey-type GUI scripting or general scripting access & community

# Games, Media, & Cloud

- Expects some access to all of the most common gaming systems & media codec support. Steam, etc.

- Expects generally-good cloud integration with client tools

# Peripherals

- Expects above-average support for common peripherals and hopes for above-average peripheral support & configuration

# Linux Admin & Sysadmin:

- Does not want to maintain core linux system / is not a sysadmin, but runs a clean, well-maintained system generally speaking.

- Does not typically need to manage more than their own user account

...That's all that's coming to mind. :-) Reasons / details on recommendations appreciated.

Give a number of the points above talk about GUI I would worry more about the DE than the distro. KDE is what you want.

I like Budgie Ubuntu. Combines the best of Mac, Linux and windows UX imo.
