Ask HN: Except for pay and healthcare what are must-have things you look for when joining a company? I imagine things like PTO, access to laptop choice.Is remote a must have?Does the quality of the people you work with really matter? (Eg a culture of respectful communication etc)Are there components of the dev stack / tech stack that are red flags that you will never touch?

Healthcare is not really important, I prefer taking care of that myself.
Remote (fully remote) is indeed very important.
I also prefer working for a company with a strong elitist worldview
And I avoid companies that are into diversity hiring
