Good use cases of AI in the office

I work in a small office, knowledge workers in operations/administration, within ~200 ppl company.

What AI tools should I evaluate to improve my office?

Off the top of my head we use:

* Concur

* Grammarly

* We have been experimenting with various plug0-ins to reply to emails

Anything else worth looking into?

What are you using?

Read Grammarly's privacy policy and then check with your legal team if installing a keylogger with very few assurances is something you're prepared to do. LanguageTool (with you running the server) is the more private/secure alternative, and it also supports ngrams (the "AI" part).

ChatGPT Pro maybe? Use it as a drafting tool then edit it into the final email/letter/copy.

I've been looking into using ChatGPT as a writing assistant for myself. If you write a lot, it's worth a shot.

Start with the problem - what do you need to improve? Talk to your office, ask them what pain points they have, what's slow and inefficient, what they think could be improved, what keeps them up at night, etc. Then figure out an "AI way" to solve it for them :-)

Do you have software engineers? GitHub Copilot is pretty good at writing simple functions and boilerplates https://github.com/features/copilot
