What to Do with Duplicate Posts?


I've posted something (https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=34465220) and it got marked immediately as duplicate.

I'm fine with this since it is a duplicate. I wonder what is a good practice for handling duplicates? Should I delete my post?

I know taht different online communities have different take on deleting content (Stack Overflow, Reddit, etc.).

What is HN recommendation?

just leave it. (I don't think it's strictly wrong to delete it either, but it's sometimes kinda useful to see how often something has been submitted and people occasionally get confused if they remember seeing something and its then gone)
