Are you finding it hard to get re-employed if you got laid-off recently?

If you have been a victim of recent tech layoffs (say starting from Sept last year) how hard have you found it to find another tech job?I am trying to get some anecdotal evidence on the veracity of the following article by WSJ:https://www.wsj.com/articles/laid-off-tech-workers-quickly-find-new-jobs-11672097730Which claims tech workers are able to find new tech jobs rather quickly.

I got hired in October by just spamming my resume to any job within breathing range of my salary demands. I did this for 1 hour a day on indeed for a month. These companies literally can't find enough developers.

I am predicting that thread might have a bias towards those that found it very hard to get re-employed since those will be the ones who can afford to browse HN all day (or is it the other way around?? :D )
