Ways to Overcome Doubt and Procrastination?

Hello folks, basically same thing as title, does anybody have any actionable insights into how to avoid thinking "this is doomed to fail" when thinking of new ideas, and how to not procrastinate and actually build stuff instead? Asking because I quit my day job months ago to "start my own company" but have been beaten by my worst enemy - myself.

The book "The 5 Second Rule" by Mel Robbins has one single idea in it. Some of the example people she describes sound like they are in almost exactly your spot. The author has a couple of past mentions on YC and she has done a Ted talk and some other videos that are on the net. I am guessing that the book might be the best introduction. It seems like a very low investment idea to try. Please report back letting me know if you thought it seemed to match your situation, if you tried it and if it worked for you. Thanks.

Hmm As the dog from adventure time said, sucking at something is the first step to being sorta good at something. (You probably don't actually suck, it's just going to look that way in the beginning.)

For me it's way too hard to stop worrying and think positive, so instead of trying to get rid of the concerns i kinda try to accept them and give myself a vague plan for it. (Like if this part fails it will take 3 months to catch up again, or if everything catastrophically fails it will take a year at a normal job to be out of debt again, etc)
