Has online communication become more toxic?
Certainly feels that way.
Idk, i think there's just more of everything. Facebook definitely encourages more fighting random strangers in comments than it used to. Every other site seems about as trolly as ever.
Can you be more specific? HN is much different than Reddit or youtube comments.
Maybe there are more and more varied communication avenues online now which enables this feeling
