How do I encourage people to giving feedback on new things?

I've recently built a funny website. 3 days ago I submitted it on Show HN and got some feedback. https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=34292473

But it was insufficient. I want to know are people like it or not to make a decision: Should I continue developing? So, I would appreciate any tips, if you know how to encourage online users to try new things.

The fact that you didn't get much feedback tells you your answer. Sure, it may be funny... but not compelling. That was my reaction when I saw it. A reaction of, "OK, fine.", and then I closed my browser tab. There is nothing wrong with your site, but neither is there any depth that would keep me coming back (or even staying for more than a minute).

If you want people to have strong reactions and stick with a product, you need to give them something that is really unique. You haven't hit that yet. We can't tell you if you should keep trying to add more to your site to make it better - that is your decision. But the lack of response does tell you that you haven't hit the mark yet.

Try posting the same question to relevant subreddits. Do you use Twitter, LinkedIn or some other social media platform? Are you member of some development discord channels?
