How good does a B2B SaaS need to be?

I understand an MVP should be built simply and quickly to get idea validation and feedback. But how polished / what features need to be there to realistically get an initial b2b customer? For example do I need SSO? Specific security protocols?

I'm not an expert on this but I'd say in order to test if the product is viable you'd have to be able to sell it with extremely minimal 'extra' features.

In other words, if you can't sell it without SSO, you can't sell it with SSO.

Hopefully you'd then get 20 customers who say "we love this but we'd also like to have SSO...". Then you'd go build all that stuff on top of it.

Talk to your target customers. In the beginning it's mostly about "does it solve the problem" in my experience.

B2B is a large field as well. Small businesses have completely different expectations than enterprise customers.
