Crazy that we know sitting is bad for you. How much productivity change, if any, have you felt if you’ve tried switching to stand up work?
Also, what an easy win for a lot of companies, if productivity changes 10-20% plus on standing desks, what an incredible easy boost that is.
I feel more productive if I stay up until 3am drinking Coke while setting in a chair working. Do you think my personal experience and preferences and habits will apply universally?
Subjectively measuring “productivity” by how you “feel” seems like a shaky start for the hypothesis “standing desks dramatically improve productivity.”
