'The Century of Self' is great. All of Adam Curtis' documentaries are awesome.
I also watched that Matt Walsh thing. A little vomit-inducing, but a great example of manipulative documentary techniques ("experts," scary music, "gotchya" ambush interviews).
I usually consume a number of documentaries, but this year I think I only watched...

For All Mankind (1989) https://www.criterion.com/films/599-for-all-mankindThis was one of the best documentaries I've ever seen. Even if you don't care for the Apollo missions, it's just so well done it deserves a watch. It's less than an hour and a half.
