What is next for Web3 in 2023?
What do you think is next for web3 in 2023? I have several things on mind:
1- Games. Games will start popping up that truly utilizes NFTs. However, most will underdeliver at first and delay their launch
2- Apple's stance against crypto. This will pose more and more friction and complaints.
3- Data. We will see more creative usage of web3 data, especially by web3 marketers who are trying to grow their apps.
4- Tokenized securities. We will see bridging applications od TradFi and DeFi, where DeFi really can help to make things easier, cheaper and quicker.
None. Nobody seemed to want crypto except venture capital firms. Banks wanted to make use of block chain to save on transaction fees, but that interest was not strong enough to warrant any investment. If there is no commercial interest in the technology there is nowhere to go and nothing to do.
A lot of web3 companies will file for chapter 11.
