Recommend a book that would cure my boredom
I won't specify a certain category. Just post what do you think is engaging and interesting.
1632 by Eric Flint, it's a fascinating look into how modern infrastructure works by telling a story of a town transported from the year 2000 back to 1631 in the middle of the 30 years war in Germany.
It became a series, and I can read it over and over, noticing new things each time.
Faraday:The Life by James Hamilton. Harper Collins publishers, paperback 465 pages.
These days everyone knows of Musk and Jobs but Faraday's many contributions to humanity's advancement are largely forgotten.
I'll recommend Tara Westover's Educated to anyone. Such a good book.
The Three Body Problem series
The count of Montecristo.
