Why can’t Apple compete with Google’s computational photography?

Compared to Google&rsquo;s Pixel, iPhone has better camera hardware and all the money and resources in the world but for some reason, Apple is getting spanked by Google in the camera department. The Pixel is basically a passion project on the side for Google while iPhone is the Apple&rsquo;s main product.Apple has been behind ever since Google introduced the first Pixel in 2016. All the Silicon Valley companies share the same talent pool. What is Google&rsquo;s secret sauce?

I see no evidence Apple is getting &lsquo;Spanked&rsquo; by Google in the camera department.Google seems to be advertising some editing features that have been available in third party iOS apps for some time.That&rsquo;s about it.
