Are You Using 5G?
It's a lot faster, right? Does your plan have unlimited data for hotspot sharing, or how much fast data?
I regularly disable 5G on my iPhone on TMobile because the connection just stops working (especially on 5G UC which is supposed to be the really fast 5G). Turning off 5G in the phone settings switches to LTE and apps and web browsing start to work again. It’s weird. I keep figuring they’ll fix it eventually and re enabling 5G but it seems to have been a problem ever since I bought my iPhone 12 mini.
At my last home I had a 5G point nearby and would get faster speeds from that than my fiber internet. But I just moved and it looks like I’m back on LTE.
I have T-Mobile which has unlimited data, though I believe it is slowed after 20gb (unless they’ve changed it).
The hot spotting is 10gb built in and above that I have a per gig charge I believe.
According to T-mobile I am. Service is slow and inconsistent. Messages get delayed by hours. Calls sometimes don’t get through. Costs me $250/month for 4 phones with unlimited dat and hotspots. M I feel ripped off. I am one city away from T-Mobile headquarters.
No. I have 5 Gbps fiber at home.
I don't really care about the bandwidth of mobile internet as long as it is minimally usable. If I'm not at home or work then I'm out living my life, not stuck to the screen.
I get 1Gbps and use 5G as my main internet at home, I cancelled with my traditional ISP and have been using 5G since.
Yes unlimited, but it is a dedicated hotspot device. Using it as primary internet access
Yes, but didn't measure it.
